This is NOT a moving company, this is a broker. They take your money and you will never hear from them again. They underestimate your shipment (our price went up $4,000 and all we miscounted was 10 boxes). They contract out with third party movers that you have no say over. They contracted us with a local company (Blvd Moving) that then contracted with an independent company (Dumbo Movers). The local movers showed me how much insurance I had but when my emailed paperwork showed up (after they left), it said I declined the insurance, which I did not. The long distance driver was rude, they were unprepared and we had to help get big stuff off the truck. Quite a bit of our stuff was damaged, boxes were crushed, and the windshield was busted off my husband’s scooter. When I reached out to file a claim they sent me a form that says what they cover (at $.60 per pound instead any real valuation), and basically they only cover furniture. Everything else (glass, dishes, anything in a box, etc.) is not covered. Thankfully a good bit our stuff was in bins and protected. We had also moved a few months prior and our furniture was in storage packed by different movers. That’s the only reason my furniture was okay. Save your money, use a reputable long distance mover, it will cost less in the long run.

They take zero responsibility for anything and contract out. Here is my email to them which I have received zero compensation. To all that it may concern, Yesterday , the delivery man, Alex, called us at to let us know that they would arrive the next day between the hours of 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Then about 30 minutes later at he called back saying that they need to drop off our stuff earlier because they have another delivery. I told them that it was fine thinking the earlier we get our stuff the better. Today we received a call from Alex and another man stating they were here to drop off our items from our move. I met them at our complex at around 7:10 a.m. and they stated they needed to go to home depot and park the truck because they had another truck and they didn’t have room here in the apartment complex. I said it was ok for them to do that. I get a call stating they were here and that’s when I met them again for unloading. I staged them in front of our apartment. They got out and immediately started requesting me to sign paperwork or else they would not unload the truck. They asked me “how much tip are you going to give us because you guys live on the second floor”. I thought it was strange they would request payment and a tip before even starting the job. I told them I could give them $50, but the older man said no and then requested $100 per person to go up one stairway. I told them I wouldn’t give them the money at the time. I gave them $800 because they needed that to start unloading and I took a picture of the contract they had showed me which was dripping wet because of the rain. They didn’t have any copy for me to have.

I was in a bind with a last-minute move, and that’s when I reached out to this moving service. Despite the tight timeline, they arrived promptly and worked tirelessly to pack, load, and transport my belongings. Jonathan clear communication and organization made the chaotic situation manageable. They even helped me unpack essential items at my new place, making settling in a breeze.

This company is a complete joke. In addition to charging us an extra $2,000, they promised to re-deliver our items once we purchased a house. I reached out to them to schedule that and they conveniently lost recording which would prove what they promised. The owner emailed me stating no one in this office would say those words basically called me a liar. In addition that, when they were delivering our items they gave us someone else’s high dollar easy up canopy and said the other people would’ve noticed by now. Makes me nervous as to what I am missing out of my delivery. Do not do business with these people. AND! I learned that they gave out all of my contact information to a moving solicitation site so I received close to 100 calls, texts and emails of other moving companies soliciting me.

I did a long-distance move and hired this company to move my things. I had no idea this company was a brokerage they did not relay this information to me. This company is a scam they hire 3rd party companies for your move without even telling you.

We had an extremely bad experience with Pinnacle. They used A & F Moving for the actual move. It was stressed on our first phone call, that they were not a broker. Items were not inventoried correctly, only 1/4 of our shipment came (week late). Waited weeks for the rest. Then, still missing 5 boxes, large TV box, and a red garden wagon. They even tried to unload a mattress set and leather chair, that were not ours! Even though I told them, they didn’t belong to us. Very poor communication, would not call back when they said they would. Finally got A & F Moving to send me a claim form. The claim form they sent me was bogus!! I called the claims company, they do not even have them as a client!

One star because zero is not an option. Never use Pinnacle or any other broker. Contract directly with a mover. We had a terrible and costly experience. Despite providing detailed measurements of all items to them, Pinnacle underestimated the size of our load by half! That is how they can come in on such a low quote. This was an out-of-state move so timing was critical. When the mover they contracted with showed up they refused to move us until the entire load was recalculated. You either pay up the first half of the increase or you don’t get moved. The other half gets paid in cash when your furniture finally shows up. When after many days of misinformation and outright lies from the mover are over and your furniture/boxes show up, the mover sent one guy….to move 2,000 cubic feet of stuff late in the evening. Our contract with Pinnacle stated they were supposed to unpack and reassemble our furniture. My wife and I (both in our 60’s) had to help unload and unpack everything so they could get their moving blankets back. Finished at 11:15 pm. HORRIBLE! Fee to Pinnacle for their “service”: $1276.74. Estimated total move cost by Pinnacle in addition to their fee: $3922.48. Actual move cost: $7495.74 for a total of $8772.48. These guys are scammers and not to be trusted.

At a loss for words with the way my move was conducted from beginning to end. The movers made it convenient for me by packing and labelling things. It was a hundred times easy to settle in for me because of them!

I’ve relocated quite a few times, and this was the nicest. The staff handled my belongings carefully, was courteous, and kept me informed. They did a great job disassembling and reassembling my furniture and packed the parts in blankets to protect them.
